Why I Created the Quiet Growth Collective
I’m Ann Hooper—a CPA, consultant, and autistic and ADHD business owner with more than 15 years of experience in corporate accounting, internal controls, and process improvement, followed by six years running an online business.
I’ve learned firsthand that a strategy can be perfectly reasonable and still be completely wrong for the person expected to carry it out. After years of trying to make myself fit business models that required too much energy, visibility, and constant availability, I began building a different kind of business—one designed around capacity rather than against it.
I created the Quiet Growth Collective to give experienced women business owners practical tools, thoughtful guidance, and a quieter place to work through business decisions. You don’t have to be neurodivergent to belong here. You simply need to want a business that fits you and can keep functioning when you aren’t operating at full capacity.
